Eligibility
B. Sc MLT or Medical Microbiology or M Sc in Medical Sciences with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Course contents: Good laboratory practice, handling of basic laboratory equipments, clinical pathology, hematology, blood banking, medical microbiology, diagnostic serology, clinical biochemistry, histology, cytology, clinical virology, clinical parasitology, clinical mycology, immunology, hospital management and organization, biostatistics and computer applications.
Career Opportunities
The physician of today is over worked professionally. It is also established that many of the functions of a physician can be performed by biomedical professionals, if given relevant education and training. One such professional is a ‘Medical Lab Technologist’ who carries out pathological laboratory work. A trained pathologist can work in many discrete and diverse areas. He can act as a consultant to a physician and a patient alike.

Other Charges
- Registration Fee: Rs. 15,000/-
- Security: Rs. 2,500/- (refundable after successful completion of the course)
- Examination Fee: As prescribed by University
- Hostel, Transport & Mess fee: Rs. 65,000/- p.a. to be paid in two equal installments. However, vacating hostel not allowed in middle of an academic session (room rent non-refundable, mess charges on prorata basis).
- Laundry charges: Rs. 250/- per month.

- Schedule for tuition fee deposition: 1st Installment - 7th June, 2nd Installment - 7th December
- No separate intimation / reminder will be sent for depositing the fee, any delay in depositing fee would carry a late fee fine.
