Our institute has an edge over others that students from all states of country and abroad bring a plethora of varied cultural experiences for sharing. The Dolphin Student’s Welfare Committee is fully committed to encourage students whole heartedly to participate in various sports, cultural and other activities which take place throughout the year. Special efforts are made to organize cultural evenings and social activities like ‘fun mela’, debate on current issues of every sphere of life, quiz-cum-antakshari, dance competition, singing competition, flower and rangoli competition, picnic and treks, nature walks, skit. DSWC award attractive prizes to the winners of each such activity, i.e., Rs. 2000.00, 1000.00 & 500.00 to the first, second and consolation prize winners.

Faculty also guide students to participate in academic workshops and conferences.

Invariably every year a colorful cultural evening is organised during annual week celebrations of the institute. Participation of students from all streams is the chief purpose of this cultural event. They are guided by the faculty to organise themselves for all events.

Being conscious of our joint responsibility of protected the environment the institute celebrates environment day on 5th June every year. Generally an eminent environmentalist is invited to addressed the students and the students are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings towards environmental conservation. This year we were proud top have Padam Vibhushan Shri Sunder Lal Bahuguna and internationally acclaimed environmentalist and his reverie invite Smt. Vimla Bahuguna. Who is an eminent personality in her self and Magsaysay and Jamnalal Bajaj Awards winner for her role in upliftment of rural women in the hills of Uttarakhand.
