Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in science/ arts/ commerce from any recognized university with 45% marks in aggregate for general and O.B.C candidates, and pass marks for S.C. and S.T. candidates. Admissions are given on merit through entrance test and rules framed by the state Govt., H.N.B. Garhwal Univ. and N.C.T.E.
Course contents: Teacher in emerging Indian society, development of learner and teaching learning process, development of educational system in India, essentials of educational technology and management, environmental education, population education, educational administration and management, educational and mental measurement, career information in career guidance, computer education, teaching of values, teaching of Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, History, Civics, Home-science, Commerce, Social Studies and Science.
Organization and management of various curricular and co-curricular activities such as seminar, workshop, eco-club, science-club, humanities-club, scout and guide, physical education, art and craft, exhibition, fair, excursion, etc and preparation of teaching aids, special emphasis on the development of teaching skills including communication skills..
